Bergamo Restaurant: family tradition at Frosio restaurant

The name of the restaurant is the same of the family that manages it: Frosio.

The place is set in a beautiful mansion of the Eighteenth century, but inside furnitures are modern, plain and polished, taking attention of details and of aesthetics.

The four rooms of the mansion, each of them with fireplace, greet guests for a business lunch or a dinner, whereas during good weather, the backyard offers its shade for pleasant evenings.

The Frosio restaurant offers tasting menus, one of fish and one of mushrooms and truffles, in which wine and used ingredients are matched by Paolo and Camillo, the managers of the restaurant.

Two dishes of the day, dessert, wine, water and coffee compose the gourmet business lunch.

The menu is rich of dishes made with natural ingredients of the territory added with a bit of flair. Starters, first and main courses of fish and meat, game and crudités, revisited and valued potlucks, typical dishes of Bergamo cooked in a modern way: this is the cookery at Frosio restaurant.

Great consideration on desserts and sweets, completely home made following the accurate art of pastry, to be matched with selected dessert wine.

A wine cellar has been built inside the tower of the Thirteenth century that is above the mansion. Its wine come from great part of Italy, France, Germany and Austria. The fan of wine Camillo will help you to choose the suitable bottle of wine for your meal.
