It was nominated “historical place” of Lombardy in 2009 because of its history that started in 1910 under the Frosios‘ leadership and because of the genuineness of its offered dishes.
The setting of the Posta restaurant is attended by the Petronilla’s feminine taste: at the entrance there is the bright bar which you pass through to enter in the first room with fireplace, whereas at the upper floor old and new are matched together in order to arrange a sever location but harmonious.
In the kitchen there are only fresh ingredients coming from the territory, sometimes combined in a curious way but always carefully highlighting tastes.
A “from sea” menu and a “of heart” menu propose a collection of flavors from starters to desserts, matched with great wine. Indeed in the a la carte menu the typical dishes are revalued rearrenging them to the modern tastes that are always looking for unique flavors.
So there are, in addition to meat and fish, snails, foie gras, sweetbreads and pheasant casoncelli.
Desserts combine fruit and cream without being banal and they are matched with a rich dessert wine list.
There is also a wine cellar furnished with Spumante, Champagne, red and white wine coming from all over Italy.
