Hotel Restaurant Bergamo: Bigio in San Pellegrino

The idea about extending the famous Milesis‘ pastry shop was born during the ‘70s and thus the Bigio Hotel was built.

The hotel is in the full city center of San Pellegrino Terme, it has single and double rooms, some in modern style, others with retro charm of the beginning of the Twentieth Century, all with private bathroom and telephone.

The wide spaces of the reception and of the garden are suitable for guests welcoming and also for their relax, whereas a spacious convention hall for business meeting is available and it can hosts about 100 people.

At the Bigio Hotel you can choose among half board and full board thanks to the Ca’ Bigio restaurant.

The restaurant room is very comfortable and warm because of the wooden structure and from the windows overlooking the backyard you can enjoy a nice view of the Casino.

The typical dishes of Bergamo are offered at Ca’ Bigio and they are carefully cooked by the chefs.

The used quality ingredients are treated in order to keep their original taste intense and to keep the traditional cookery line.

First and main dishes, both of meat and fish, are made and shown with care and the delicious desserts are totally home made. Moreoever a tasting menu with sea foods and one with “earth” product are available. Every course can be matched with a wine bottle: the wine list is rich – sparkling, white and red wine, dessert wine – from all over Italy.

The Bigio Hotelis in San Pellegrino Terme, famous for its water and for the Art Nouveau, 24 km far from Bergamo in Brembana Valley at the foot of the Orobie Alps. This area is full of nature and of interesting places, which you can discover with the help of SmarTrippin, the touristic app for smartphone and tablet that Bigio supplies.
